Below is the current list of cities where Trailcar can dispatch a vehicle. Each region has its own quirks — toll systems, parking culture, driving side, fuel grades — and our dispatchers keep notes that go beyond what guidebooks tell you. If a city you need isn't on this page, write to us anyway: we frequently add neighbouring cities on demand and can usually deliver within a 90-minute drive of any listed hub.
Europe
Most rentals in Europe are right-hand drive vehicles on left-hand roads in the UK only; everywhere else is left-hand drive on the right side of the road. Vignettes (Austria, Switzerland, Czechia, Slovenia) and electronic toll tags are pre-loaded on the car where required. Cross-border drives within Schengen are normally permitted; advise the dispatcher in advance.
London, United Kingdom
Right-hand drive, miles per hour. Congestion Charge zone in central London (currently £15/day, weekdays 07:00–18:00) is the most common surprise — we mention it on hand-over. ULEZ-compliant vehicles by default. Delivery to Heathrow, Gatwick, City, Stansted and Luton.
Paris, France
Crit'Air sticker (Class 1 or 2) included on every car so it can enter the central low-emission zone. Parking in central arrondissements is expensive and scarce — for stays of 3+ nights we usually recommend a hotel with valet. Delivery to CDG and Orly.
Monaco
Small principality, technically French driving rules but a separate jurisdiction for parking and registration. We hand over at the Hôtel de Paris, Métropole or the Yacht Club on request. Heliport pick-up by prior arrangement.
Nice, France
NCE is our gateway hub for the entire Côte d'Azur. Delivery to airport, port-side promenade and any Riviera hotel. Coastal drives to Monaco, Cannes and Saint-Tropez are routine same-day.
Cannes, France
Promenade de la Croisette delivery. During the Film Festival and Cannes Lions, hand-over slots are limited and must be booked at least seven days ahead.
Saint-Tropez, France
Seasonal operations May–September. Port-side delivery; narrow access roads make larger SUVs impractical in July–August — Premium sedans and convertibles are the default.
Milan, Italy
Area C (central limited-traffic zone) requires a paid permit on weekdays — pre-purchased on your behalf if you intend to enter. Delivery at Malpensa, Linate and the new Bergamo Caravaggio terminal.
Rome, Italy
ZTL (limited traffic) cameras cover most of the historic centre. We recommend hotels just outside the ZTL or arrange a chauffeur for the final mile. Delivery at Fiumicino and Ciampino.
Florence, Italy
The ZTL covers the entire historic core — ANPR fines are non-negotiable. We hand over outside the zone and provide each hotel's permit policy in writing. Routes to Chianti and Siena are short.
Madrid, Spain
Madrid Central low-emission zone is enforced; all our cars meet the requirement. Free flowing tolls on AP-6 / AP-7 are billed back to the rental. Delivery at Barajas.
Barcelona, Spain
Same emission rules as Madrid. Parking inside the Eixample grid is tight — for stays under 24 hours, valet hotels are simplest. Delivery at El Prat.
Marbella, Spain
Puerto Banús and Golden Mile delivery. AGP (Málaga) airport drop-off included. Drives to Gibraltar (1 hour) and Sotogrande are supported with prior paperwork.
Ibiza, Spain
Seasonal fleet — Premium and Luxury only, May–October. Old-town access is vehicle-restricted; default hand-over is at the marina or hotel forecourt.
Berlin, Germany
Green-zone (Umweltplakette) sticker included. Autobahn 24/7 fuel stations along A2 / A9 are the usual long-drive baseline. Delivery at BER and any of the Mitte hotels.
Munich, Germany
Bavarian Alpine roads are the most-requested drive — we pre-pack winter chains October through April on request. Delivery at MUC and the Schloss Elmau / Tegernsee region.
Amsterdam, Netherlands
Compact, congested centre — for in-city use a smaller Economy car is usually wiser. For longer trips we deliver at Schiphol. Drive-throughs to Brussels and Düsseldorf are standard.
Vienna, Austria
Austrian motorway vignette (Pickerl) included on every car. Delivery at VIE; the Ringstraße hotels are five minutes from our usual hand-over point.
Zurich, Switzerland
Swiss motorway vignette included. Geneva–Zurich axis is one of our most-used Premium routes — flat highway, 120 km/h, around three hours door to door.

Cross-border drives into French Haute-Savoie and Italian Aosta are routine. Skis and snowboards can be pre-loaded by request December through March.
Lisbon, Portugal
Toll roads (A2, A6, A22) use electronic Via Verde transponders — pre-installed and billed on return. Delivery at Humberto Delgado airport.
Athens, Greece
Single-letter licence-plate parking rule applies in the central restricted zone on weekdays — we hand over a compliant plate or recommend hotels outside it.
Mykonos, Greece
Summer-only operations June–September. Vehicles must be ferried over from Athens — please book at least 72 hours in advance. SUV strongly recommended for the Elia and Super Paradise back roads.
Istanbul, Türkiye
HGS electronic toll tag included for the Bosphorus bridges. Delivery on both the European and Asian sides of the city — please specify when booking.
Prague, Czechia
Czech motorway sticker included. Drive-throughs to Vienna (3 hours) and Dresden (2 hours) are common requests.
Copenhagen, Denmark
Øresund Bridge crossings into Sweden are permitted with prior notice — bridge toll is reimbursable on receipt. Delivery at CPH.
Limassol, Cyprus
Our home market. Left-hand drive on the left, miles per hour. Limassol Marina, Four Seasons and the Amathus hotel strip are our default hand-over points. Drives to Troodos and Larnaca are 45 minutes each.
Nicosia, Cyprus
Capital, mixed traffic. Crossings into the northern part of the island at Ledra Street are not permitted under our insurance.
Paphos, Cyprus
PFO airport delivery. Coastal drives along the Akamas peninsula benefit from a 4×4. Routes to the Tombs of the Kings and Aphrodite's Rock are short same-day trips.
Larnaca, Cyprus
LCA airport and Phinikoudes promenade delivery. Larnaca salt-lake and Ayia Napa are 30 minutes apart — common combined-day requests.
Middle East & Africa
Right-hand drive on the right; international driving permits accepted alongside the home licence in all four cities below. Fuel is sub-€1/litre across the region. Most cars carry a Salik / Darb / Etihad / Pikud toll tag pre-installed; charges appear on the final invoice.
Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Our largest fleet. Salik toll-tag pre-installed. Cross-border drives to Oman (Musandam, Muscat) and within the UAE are possible with prior paperwork. Delivery at DXB, DWC and any of the major Marina, Palm or Downtown hotels.
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Darb toll-tag pre-installed. Yas Island and Saadiyat hotel forecourts are our default hand-over points. Drive to Liwa or the Empty Quarter requires an SUV; specify on booking.
Doha, Qatar
Smaller network — we operate Premium and Luxury only here, no Economy. Delivery at DOH and the West Bay / Pearl hotels.
Tel Aviv, Israel
Pikud Ha-Orev toll-road tag pre-installed. The Jerusalem and Dead Sea drives are the most-requested day trips.
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
International driving permit accepted alongside the home licence. Delivery at RUH and the King Abdullah Financial District hotels. Cross-country drives to Jeddah are supported with prior route confirmation.
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Corniche and Red Sea hotel delivery. JED airport drop-off included. Routes to Mecca are restricted to Muslim renters under Saudi law — please specify on booking.
Muscat, Oman
MCT airport and Shatti Al Qurum hotel delivery. Cross-border drives from Dubai via Musandam supported with 24-hour advance notice and additional paperwork.
Manama, Bahrain
BAH airport delivery. King Fahd Causeway crossings to Saudi Arabia are permitted with prior approval and a 24-hour border-paperwork window.
Beirut, Lebanon
BEY airport delivery. Drives into the Chouf Mountains, Byblos and Baalbek require an additional insurance rider, which we include automatically.
Marrakesh, Morocco
RAK airport and Medina hotel-forecourt delivery — vehicle access into the Medina itself is restricted to authorised carriers. Atlas Mountains and Essaouira day-trips require an SUV.
Asia
Each city has its own driving side and licensing rules. We confirm at booking exactly which licence translation you need to bring — for most clients holding a major European, North-American or GCC licence, no extra paperwork is required.
Singapore
Left-hand drive on the left. ERP gantry tolls are billed on return. For visits under 24 hours, a chauffeured option is usually more economical than self-drive given the parking economics.
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
KUL airport and Bukit Bintang hotel delivery. SmartTAG toll device included. Drives to Genting Highlands, Penang and Singapore are supported.
Hong Kong SAR
Right-hand drive on the left. Tunnel and bridge tolls billed on return. Chauffeured option strongly recommended for first-time visitors.
Macau SAR
Right-hand drive on the left. Cotai Strip casino hotels are our default hand-over points. Drive-over to mainland China is not permitted — separate Chinese licence and insurance required.
Tokyo, Japan
Right-hand drive on the left. ETC card included for the expressway network. International driving permit required from most countries; we confirm at booking.
Seoul, South Korea
ICN and GMP airport delivery. Hi-Pass toll tag included for the expressway network. Drives to Busan and Sokcho are feasible same-day.
Bangkok, Thailand
Right-hand drive on the left. EasyPass toll tag included. Within-city traffic is heavy; for shorter trips a chauffeur saves time.
Phuket, Thailand
HKT airport and Patong / Kata / Surin hotel delivery. Coastal Phang Nga drives benefit from a 4×4 during the rainy season (June–October).
Bali, Indonesia
Left-hand drive on the left. SUV strongly recommended outside Seminyak / Canggu — back roads to Ubud and Amed are uneven. Delivery at DPS and the Seminyak / Uluwatu / Ubud hotel clusters.
Mumbai, India
BOM airport and South Mumbai hotel delivery. Within-city traffic is severe — chauffeur strongly recommended for first-time visitors. Lonavala and Pune day-trips are routine.
