Trailcar Mobility Ltd. was founded in 2019 by a group of former chauffeurs, hotel concierges and former rental-fleet managers who were tired of the same complaint: even at the top end of the market, renting a car still felt like buying a printer cartridge online. Twelve dropdowns, five upsell screens, a security deposit pre-authorised before anyone had even spoken to a human. We thought premium travel deserved a slightly more old-fashioned interaction.
So Trailcar runs the other way around. The website does exactly one thing: it lets you describe the rental you have in mind in four fields and hands the conversation to a dispatcher who knows the city. Everything that follows — exact vehicle, delivery point, paperwork, insurance level — is handled in writing, by a real person, in the same Telegram thread you can scroll back through afterwards. The website is, on purpose, the smallest part of the experience.
What we operate
Today, Trailcar arranges roughly 14,000 rentals a year across 49+ cities in Europe, the Gulf and South-East Asia. We do not own most of the cars ourselves; we operate a vetted network of local fleet partners — independent rental houses, private leasing companies and a handful of dealership-affiliated fleets — and we keep a single quality bar across the network. Every car is delivered cleaned, fully fuelled, inspected and photographed before hand-over. Every dispatcher speaks at least two languages, including English. Every rental is settled by an actual signed agreement on hand-over, not by a click-through.
Where we are based
Trailcar Mobility Ltd. is a private company incorporated in the Republic of Cyprus (registration number HE 412 889), registered for VAT under number CY 60412889V. Our headquarters sit a few minutes from the Cypriot Bar Association in central Nicosia. Operational hubs in Dubai, London and Singapore look after the three time-zone regions we serve, so a dispatcher is never asleep when you write.
What we believe
- Time is the real luxury. The point of the service is that you spend less of your day on the rental, not more.
- Conversations beat checkboxes. A two-line message to a person settles things that a 17-step form cannot.
- Quiet is a feature. Black sedans, clean cars, dispatchers who text rather than call. The car should be the most noticeable thing about the booking.
- Honest pricing. The "from" prices on the home page are based on real internal averages from the past 12 months — not a marketing-team invention. Final quotes are written down before payment, never after.

Memberships and audits
Trailcar is a member of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Our books are audited annually by a CYSEC-registered practice. We are registered as a data controller with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Cyprus. Local fleet partners hold the licences and insurance policies required by the country in which they operate, and they are re-audited by us every twelve months.
